Hi! I'm Amanda Worst.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Calvin College and my Master’s of Social Work from Western Michigan University. I am a licensed clinical social worker and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. I have served in the field of social work for 15+ years. My work experience includes providing individual, couples, and group therapy, as well as psychoeducation and advocacy. I have been employed at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, DA Blodgett-St. John's Home, the Inner City Christian Federation, and most recently Calvin College's Broene Counseling Center.

I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they face challenges and seek support. I am also grateful to work with the community to provide supportive and preventative education. I have presented on various mental health related topics and am a certified QPR suicide prevention trainer. While employed at Calvin College, I facilitated the Sexual Assault Prevention Team, a team dedicated to providing support for victim-survivors and education for the campus community. In partnership with the Christian Reformed Church's Safe Church Ministry, I have educated young children in my own church about safe relationships through the abuse prevention curriculum, Circle of Grace.

I have lived in the Grand Rapids area for 19+ years. I'm married and have three young children. I enjoy spending time with new and familiar faces, and experiencing the fullness that the greater Grand Rapids area has to offer.
